WESTERN KENTUCKY will hope they can replicate last week’s offensive explosion when they take to the road to face Old Dominion.
The Hilltoppers secured over 627 offensive yards en route to an impressive 45-14 win over Charlotte.
They should feel confident about making it four straight wins against a side that don’t remember what it feels like to win.
After a 2-0 start to their season Old Dominion have lost four-straight games, and to say the past month of football has been brutal is putting things politely.
Their defence has allowed an average of 46 points per game to be scored against them during this run, while only scoring an average of 13.5 points per game during that stretch.
W. Kentucky QB Mike White was near unstoppable last week throwing for five TD’s as the offence has begun to find its groove. The Hilltoppers have average over 30 points per game during their three-game win streak and should find a lot of success against this Old Dominion defence.
These sides have only faced off three times in the past, but Old Dominion have not only lost all three but they’ve failed to hold the Hilltoppers to less than 55 points.
If White and his offence can continue the same level of play they’ve shown this past fortnight they’ll run all over this Old Dominion defence – and there’s nothing to say they won’t put up 50+ points again.
Our numbers show a huge lean on the road team, who we have covering almost 73% of the time. This line will almost certainly shift sooner rather than later so we advise getting on board before it clears that 10 point threshold.
Tip: Western Kentucky -7.5 @ $1.89
