EPL Preview: Week 11

It’s week 11 in the EPL and as usual, we’ve got dug up the best value of the round.

West Ham v Liverpool

Two sides really struggling for consistency in the league do battle at the Olympic Stadium in what should really be an entertaining attacking game. West Ham’s defence is in disarray right now with Pablo Zabaleta suspended, James Collins and Sam Byram out injured and captain Winston Reid and Jose Fonte under a major injury cloud. The Hammers defence is ranked 16th in the league right now and conceding two goals to the worst attack in the league last weekend was certainly a low point for Slavin Bilic’s side.

Liverpool’s defence away from home in the league is extremely shaky having conceded seven from their past three away matches. There have been over 2.5 goals scored in five of Liverpool’s last six away games. And in a big boost for the Reds, Jurgan Klopp admitted that Sadio Mane is fit to feature for at least 20-30 minutes in this one.

This one has goals written all over it and we highly recommend taking the value on the bigger overs.

Prediction: Over 3.5 goals @ $2.60

Tottenham v Crystal Palace

Tottenham are playing arguably their best football in decades. Fresh off a 3-1 demolition of Real Madrid, confidence will be sky-high amongst the Spurs faithful and rightly so. The attacking trio of Dele Alli, Christian Erikson and Harry Kane often get all the plaudits but it’s the back three of Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez that have really stepped up this season and injected some real steel at the back.

Palace have looked a lot better the past month under new manager Roy Hodgson but it will no doubt be a season-long slog to remain in the topflight beyond 2018. Without strikers Connor Wickham and Christian Benteke, Palace is once again forced to play with wingers Andros Townsend and Wilfried Zaha upfront. That just won’t cut it against this Tottenham backline that has kept five clean sheets in their past seven home games against Palace.

To compound things further for the away side, Palace have failed to score in their past seven away games.

Prediction: Tottenham clean sheet @ $2.10
