EPL Preview: Week 14

It’s a short turnaround but the EPL is back with what’s sure to be a cracking round of mid-week fixtures. Here’s our best picks for Week 14.

Chelsea v Swansea

After a rough couple of games, Chelsea have really hit their straps and rediscovered the kind of form that won them the title last season. Antonio Conte’s side is unbeaten in their past five matches in the league, a run that also includes four wins, three clean sheets and just three goals against.

Swansea are nothing but a mess right now. The Welsh side are without a win in their past five and are currently the worst attacking unit in the league with just seven goals from their 13 games. In fact, the Swans have only managed one goal from their past five league matches.

To make matters worse for Swansea, top goalscorer, Tammy Abraham, will not be eligible to play due to Chelsea being his parent club.

Prediction: Chelsea win to nil @ $1.73

Everton v West Ham

Two teams who have sacked their coaches this season and have been nothing but disappointing. Everton, fresh off shipping four goals at home to Southampton, have leaked a competition-high 28 goals this season. The Toffees have conceded at least two goals in their past five matches and there have been over 2.5 goals scored in their past three matches in the league.

West Ham certainly aren’t any better. The Hammers have conceded at least two goals in five of their past six matches.

Traditionally, this fixture produces goals with 15 scored in the past six clashes and we firmly expect that trend to continue here with victory a must for both sides.

Prediction: Over 2.5 goals @ $2.10
