HERE’S our daily multi maker – offering the best value tips for the best returns:
The Cavs are looking like the unstoppable force we expected them to be come playoff time. It seems they were very much able to flick on the switch despite many pundits questioning whether their poor end to the regular season would transfer into the playoffs. Toronto looked helpless in Game 1 and we expect them to once again be over-roared by LeBron James and co. Add the Cavs straight up to your bet slips as they once again overpower their rivals from the North.
San Antonio were absolutely humiliated on their home court in Game 1 and we’re pretty certain that won’t be happening again in Game 2. Gregg Popovich knows he has a lot to do in preparation for this one but that being said the Rockets are not going to shoot as well as they did last time out. The four regular season games between the sides all went down to the wire and we can see this one being the case here as San Antonio change the tempo in this one. Neither side is being blown out, and we can’t see how the Spurs can possibly go 0-2 on their home court. There’s a couple options for this one but we like the Spurs with a small start as our safest pick.
– Cavaliers $1.28
– Spurs +4.5 $1.20
– Rockets +10.5 $1.44
– Rockets +15.5 $1.20
Gio Gonzalez has been terrific for Washington this season and we expect him to dominate once again. He boasts an incredible 1.62 ERA and has allowed just eight runs in his 33 innings at the mound! Robbie Ray is also enjoying a stellar season for Arizona and while he’ll limit Washington’s hitters allowing just 2-3 runs could be enough to lose this match up. Give the Nationals a handicap as a safe play for your bet slips, but we also like Gonzalez to keep the Diamondbacks to under four runs.
– Washington +1.5 $1.42
– Washington +2.5 $1.25
– Arizona u/5.5 runs $1.30
– Arizona u/4.5 runs $1.53
Jordan Thompson was impressive in his win against Adrian Menendez-Maceiras last time out but this is certainly his biggest test of the clay court season. Diego Schwartzman remains a serious contender for in Istanbul and the no. 3 seed should cruise past the Australian in this one. The Argentine was super impressive at the Monte Carlo Masters, losing out to winner Rafa Nadal in the semi-finals, and despite a slip up last week in Budapest there’s no way we can go against him. This is a lock and must feature in your multi slips for today.
– Diego Schwartzman $1.22
