HERE’S our daily multi maker – offering the best value tips for the best returns:
Max Scherzer was left red-faced the last time he faced off against the Braves and Luiz Gohara, but he and the Nationals can ill-afford a similar result. Last season, Scherzer went a perfect 4-0 against the Braves, but has been resigned to a 1-2 record against them so far this season. We can’t see him dropping another game against a team with nothing to play for – and the good news is he won’t have to pitch to Matt Kemp this time around. Our model is projecting the Nats winning at least 74% of the time and the value is too good to ignore here. Throw them onto your bet slip as we look to bounce back on the multi trail.

Lucas Pouille will be looking for a good run in Metz and the no. 3 seed should like his chances in the Round of 16. He’s already beaten his Romanian opponent, Marius Copil, twice in his career to hold a 2-0 hd2hd record against him. Their previous hard court meeting was earlier this year, with the Frenchman emerging a comfortable 6-1, 6-4 winner. Copil had lost his last five straight games on Hard Court surface before getting past Alessandro Giannessi last round, but we expect him to cause his French opponent little trouble here.
