OUR college football multi’s have been cashing in for punters and we look to find another winner today.
We’ll keep this short but here’s our picks for a nice little Sunday morning multi:
Purdue Boilmakers @ Northwestern Wildcats
The Wildcats are rolling at the moment and they’ll look to make it five straight wins when they welcome Purdue. Northwestern owns an advantage in almost all key categories heading into this one, including; points per game, yards gained, time of possession and red zone visits (and conversions). Purdue’s bounce back win last week came at a huge cost with QB David Blough being ruled out for the season through injury. The Boilermakers have lost all three matchups with ranked opponents this year and we firmly expect that trend to continue. The Wildcats are 4-0 against the spread in conference play this year and 5-0 against the spread against teams with a losing record. Add Northwestern at a great price for your Sunday multi.
Old Dominion Monarchs @ Florida International Golden Panthers
Florida International are rolling this season and they should like their chances against a team that is coming off a remarkable 6-0 win. That win gave Old Dominion their first conference win of the season, but they’re now coming up against a team that is a very impressive 4-1 on conference play. FIU quarterback Alex McGough was very solid in an ugly win last week and that QB advantage will be a huge difference maker in this one. Sharp money has driven the the line up three points, taking FIU from 7.5 favourites to 10.5 favourites. This is a small line price for a midrange team, but the gulf in class is enormous and they’re a nice boost to our multi.
Alabama Crimson Tide @ Mississipi State Bulldogs
To put it simply; Alabama are the best team in the nation. The rankings will ultimately reflect that before the season ends and Nick Saban’s team will roll toward another national championship. Anyone they face on their road to a title will be nothing more than a speed hump for them to overcome – starting with Ole Miss. The Bulldogs will likely keep this one close for the first half but they’ll struggle to find any consistent yardage on this Alabama defence. The home side rely heavily on their ability to run the ball, and they’re now tasked with the prospect of negating their way around the number one ground defence in the country – Alabama allows just 77.3 rushing yards per game. Saban’s team give up just 4.0 yards per possession and own a +1.7 yard per possession differential when matched up with the Bulldogs offence. We do generally avoid such short odds but this is simply a guarantee and an easy way to push up our multi odds.
