NCAAB best bets: Monday, 4 December

WE’RE coming off a nice 2-0 sweep as our NCAAB tips continue to cash in.

Here’s our best bets for the action ahead:

Coppin State @ Georgetown

Admittedly, we tend to shy away from big double-digit lines but this is a game where the line couldn’t be big enough.

Georgetown are a perfect 5-0 on the new season and welcome strugglers Coppin State to town, who are a dismal 0-7 on the year.

While the Hoyas are yet to be truly tested on the new season they have been doing what’s asked of them against lesser opposition – and Coppin State is very much just that.

Not only are the Eagles struggling to find a win they are struggling to do a lot of things right at the moment.

The team is currently scoring just 51.6 points per game while allowing a whopping 77.3 points at the same time. They’re shooting at 23% from beyond the arc and are now coming up against a team that holds opponents to 24.8% from deep.

The Hoyas meanwhile have no problem scoring the basketball. They’re averaging 83.2 points per game and are shooting at over 50% from the field, including 42.7% from three-point range.

The advantage doesn’t just lay in the obvious comparisons – the Hoyas have a dominant edge in rebounding and bench production, and have already won four game by 20+ points this season.

Our projections have the home team winning by 30+ points, which makes this large line seem more than reasonable for bettors. We expect it to climb by tip-off tomorrow so find a good price and get on early.

Tip: Georgetown Hoyas -25.5 @ $1.95 (Crownbet)
