NFL preview: Week 13

WE’RE headed to the business end of the season in the NFL and there’s plenty of money to be made as a result.

Here’s our best bets for the action ahead:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Green Bay Packers

The Bucs are all but finished for 2017 and we don’t expect them to cause a whole lot of fireworks this season – especially not on the road.

While the Packers will no doubt be wondering “what if?” in regards to Aaron Rodgers but they have to be impressed with the development of Brett Hundley.

While Tampa Bay will welcome back QB Jameis Winston there’s certain to be rust from the former Seminole, which will only be magnified by the fact the team will be without two key offensive linesmen.

What’s worse is they won’t get much help on the ground either. The Bucs average just 81.1 rushing yards per game while averaging a mere 3.5 yards per carry.

While Hundley has struggled at home this season he’ll be boosted by a strong performance against a Steelers defence that ranks far higher than this Tampa Bay team.

The visitors allow 395.5 yards per game and have given up and are conceding 31 points per game on the road this season.

Green Bay know they’re still a chance of making the playoffs and can ill-afford a slip-up at home to a team with literally nothing to play for.

We love the Packers to win this and while we’ve missed the best price we advise getting on now before the line climbs to a field goal.

Tip: Green Bay Packers -1.5 @ $1.83 (Unibet)

Cleveland Browns @ LA Chargers

If there’s two things worth noting coming into this game it’s that; a. the Chargers are rolling right now, and b. the Browns offence remains nothing shy of shambolic.

There is a way Cleveland can keep this close however, and that’s on the ground.

The Browns run game has been a small shining light on another disgraceful season and they’re coming up against a team that ranks in the bottom 10 in the league in rushing defence.

The Chargers give up 133.5 yards per game on the ground, while their pass defence is much more consistent in allowing just 206.0 yards per game.

That pass defence should have little trouble dealing with the worst QB in the league in DeShone Kizer.

The yardage total for Kizer sits at 195.5 yards, which is interesting given how badly the rookie has thrown against above average defences.

In his last seven outings he has eclipsed that number just twice, and that’s against the Bengals and Lions who don’t boast top-tier secondaries by any means.

The Chargers defence has been extremely impressive in their last four straight now and they should feast on Kizer as they look to push toward a division title. Take the Unders as our data shows Kizer throwing almost 40 yards under the posted total.

Tip: DeShone Kizer u/207.5 yards @ $1.86 (Sportsbet)
