CRYSTAL PALACE CAPTAIN Scott Dann has been ruled out of the team’s match against Stoke City.
Dann picked up an injury in the team’s lacklustre home loss to Sunderland last week and has been deemed unfit by manager Sam Allardyce.
The injury will likely allow Allardyce to hand a start to Liverpool loanee Mahmadou Sakho, with the Frenchman set to see his first premier league minutes of the season.
While Sakho is undoubtedly an able replacement his lack of match fitness and preparation will only further hamper the visitors chances.
Stoke remain one of our best bets of the day as they host an uninspiring Palace side at the Britannia Stadium later today.
The home side have lost just one of their last 10 home games in the league, while striker Saido Berahino’s record against Palace remains his most prolific (three goals in seven appearances against the Londoners).
If anything the absence of Dann only strengthens our position on Stoke City – expect odds to drop closer to kick-off.
