Monday Night Football: Washington Redskins @ Philadelphia Eagles

IT’S been another profitable week in the NFL and we look to continue that trend when the Redskins travel to Philadelphia.

Not many people would have predicted the Eagles to be the best team in football at the moment, but here they are with the chance to take complete control of the NFC East.

Carson Wentz has been near flawless this season and the Eagles offence has been as efficient as you could ask from any team.

Their run defence remains the best in the NFL, allowing just 65.7 yards per game, while their balanced offence has allowed them to rank among the top offences as well.

The hardest part about this match up for Philly is that Washington also boast an above average run defence, allowing just 88.0 yards per game.

This will mean extra pressure on both QB’s to perform at their best, and given Kirk Cousin’s well known struggles on Monday Night Football this could come down to which defence forces the most broken plays and interceptions.

If that’s the case, it’s advantage Philadelphia once again. Washington come in with a banged up defensive line and they could have trouble dealing with the long ball if Wentz can find his targets.

The Overs is attracting the most money and understandably, but there’s a lot pointing toward the Unders in this one.

Both sides will force one another to air the ball out, which could result in a lot of turnovers downfield if neither run team is able to get going.

LeGarrette Blount is averaging 5.8 yards per carry this season, but if the Redskins can at least shut him down and force Wentz and this Eagles offence to become one-dimensional we could see the punt team coming onto the field more often than not.

We normally don’t like going against sharp money but you’ll find big money pour in on this total once the public drives it up a notch. Wait until just before kick-off to get the best number in this one.

Tip: Under 50.5 @ $1.90
