NCAAB best bets: Friday, 12 January

WE look to bounce back from a tough week with some strong NCAAB picks.

Here’s our best bets for today’s action:

Marshall @ Charlotte

Marshall were horrific in their last start at Western Kentucky, which is normally good reason for us to avoid this game all together.

Why are we going back for more? Because the bookies have given us a line that simply doesn’t make sense.

Charlotte are 3-8 against the spread this season, and have failed the cover the line in any of their home games.

The 49ers are averaging just 68.2 points per game this season and their defence isn’t doing much to help their cause, allowing teams to score at an average of 77.4 point per game while shooting at almost 50% from the field.

There’s no doubt the road team will come in with a point to prove after their dismal efforts against Western Kentucky, and the team will take solace from the fact they’re 6-3 against the spread when instilled as favourites by the bookies.

The team are shooting at 47.6% form the field and while their defence might not rank among the top teams in the nation it will do more than enough to disrupt an offence that lacks confidence.

Lay the points on the road team here.
